# How do I buy and sell RAM?

> Buy and/or sell RAM with Bloks, EOS Authority and Anchor Wallet

The most popular ways to buy and sell RAM is with [Bloks.io](http://bloks.io/), [EOSAuthority.com](http://eosauthority.com/) and the [Anchor](https://greymass.com/en/anchor/) (Desktop)

Note that the purchase and sale of RAM has a 5% commission charged by the network regardless of the platform you use to carry out the transaction.

# **Desktop Version:**

## **[Bloks.io](https://bloks.io/wallet/ram/buy):**

**Buying RAM:**

1. Once logged in to [bloks.io](http://bloks.io/), go to the **Wallet** > **Buy/Sell RAM** section.

2. Type the receiving account (green rectangle) in the first box.

3. Select one of the checkboxes to express the amounts in EOS or bytes. At the bottom, it will show you the equivalent in bytes or in EOS of RAM that you will buy.

**[Selling RAM on bloks.io](https://bloks.io/wallet/ram/sell)**

1. In the same section, go to the tab **Sell RAM**.

2. You can sell part of your available RAM in that account. You'll be able to see how much you will receive in EOS at the bottom.

From this link of the EOS Authority portal, at the lower right side, you will see a box with the options to buy RAM. You only have to write the amount in EOS with which you want to make the purchase.

From the same link, go to the **Sell** tab and enter the amount of RAM in bytes you wish to sell (you will see the amount available in your account above the box).

## [Anchor Wallet](https://greymass.com/en/anchor/download):

From the **Resources** section in the menu on the left (speedometer icon), you will see the option to buy (the blue button that says **Purchase**) and sell (the red button that says **Sell**) RAM.

**Buying RAM:**

Once in the purchase menu, enter the amount in EOS to purchase (or go to the **By RAM Amount** tab to buy in bytes), and you will be able to authorize the transaction.

**Selling RAM:**

From the sale menu, enter the amount in EOS to sell (or go to the **By RAM Amount** tab to enter the amount in bytes); on the right, you will see the amount of RAM available in your account.
