# How Do I Change My EOS wallet?

> I want to change my EOS wallet.

A [Created EOS account](https://help.eossupport.io/en/articles/6144960-how-to-create-an-eos-account) is stored directly in the RAM on the EOS blockchain and not in a wallet.

The [EOS wallets](https://help.eossupport.io/en/articles/5565632-what-are-the-best-eos-wallets) are authenticators to sign transactions. As long as one has their private key, one can use any EOS Authenticators like [Anchor](https://greymass.com/en/anchor/download/), [Wombat](http://getwombat.io/) (insert the private key in any legit EOS wallet/authenticators to access your EOS account).

When you change your wallet, ensure you [secure the owner's private key](https://help.eossupport.io/en/articles/6144882-how-to-backup-your-private-keys) if it differs from the active key and you have not already secured it.

You can also use more than one wallet for the same EOS Account.
